🖤 Shah Rukh Khan

Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan made his Met Gala debut in a custom all-black ensemble by Sabyasachi. The outfit featured a floor-length Tasmanian superfine wool coat with monogrammed Japanese horn buttons, paired with a black crepe de chine shirt and tailored wool trousers. A pleated satin kamarbandh cinched the waist, adding structure to the layered look. Mr Khan looked like the King that he truly is!

Actress Kiara Advani showcased her baby bump in a custom Gaurav Gupta creation titled "Bravehearts." The black bodycon gown featured an antique gold breastplate adorned with ghungroos, symbolizing defiance, legacy, and new beginnings. We love how cute she looks!

👑 Diljit Dosanjh

Punjabi singer and actor Diljit Dosanjh embraced his heritage in a custom Prabal Gurung ensemble. The ivory outfit featured intricate gold threadwork and was complemented by a turban, cape, and ceremonial sword. Diljit aimed to wear the historic Patiala Necklace but was unable to secure it due to its fragility. He did secure everyone's hearts though!

Entrepreneur Mona Patel brought a futuristic flair to the red carpet in a custom Thom Browne tuxedo-inspired ensemble. She was accompanied by "Vector," a robotic dog developed at MIT, adorned with a 1000-carat diamond-studded leash. The ensemble reimagined classic tailoring with a modern twist.

Isha Ambani showcased Indian craftsmanship in a custom Anamika Khanna outfit that took over 15,000 hours to create. The ensemble featured a heavily embellished corset paired with black silk trousers and a regal cape.
